Andes Ventas

Multi-currency point of sale for small businesses in Venezuela and Colombia — sell, balance the till, track inventory and extend credit in dollars, bolívares and pesos, from any phone or laptop, even offline.

The problem

A shop in Táchira takes dollars, bolívares and pesos at the same counter — sometimes in the same sale. The customer pays in bolívares and wants change in pesos. The rate has moved since this morning. Regulars buy on credit. And the connection can drop for hours at a time. Generic point-of-sale systems break on every one of those.

What Andes Ventas does

Built on the same multi-currency core as Andes Cocina, rebuilt for the counter instead of the kitchen. Point of sale, cash register, inventory and collections in dollars, bolívares and pesos — in one platform. No hardware to buy and nothing to install: if you have a phone or a laptop with a browser, you already have the system.

How it works

  1. Sign up in minutes — sign in with Google, create your business and make your first sale.
  2. Sell — scan with any USB or Bluetooth scanner, sell by the kilo, metre or litre, split the payment, or put it on the customer's tab.
  3. Balance the till — the system computes what should be there; the cashier only declares what they counted. Over and short are calculated in each currency, so a rate change never invents a shortfall.
  4. Hand it to your accountant — Venezuelan VAT books, IGTF report, withholdings and fiscal invoices, ready to export.

Key features

  • Charge in whatever currency the customer brings — split payments and change in a different currency, across 20+ payment methods: cash, Zelle, Pago Móvil, USDT, Nequi, Bancolombia, Zinli and more
  • Automatic daily rates — BCV official, BCV euro, Binance P2P or the border rate, with manual override
  • Offline-first — installable from the browser; sales keep going when the connection drops and sync later, even into a register that's already closed
  • Inventory — SKU and barcode, average cost, physical counts, shrinkage, lots with expiry dates and low-stock alerts
  • Store credit & customer tabs — credit accounts, split and merged tabs, and recurring debts
  • Subscriptions — for gyms, academies and internet providers; every renewal enters the register as a sale, with WhatsApp reminders
  • Online store — your catalog at a shareable link, with prices that update live in every currency
  • Venezuelan tax compliance — VAT sales and purchase books, Forma 30, IGTF, VAT and income-tax withholdings, and fiscal invoice series
  • AI import — photograph a receipt, drop a bank statement PDF, paste a supplier spreadsheet, or just type "paid rent $200 yesterday"; the AI transcribes it and a human reviews it
  • Team & multiple businesses — seller, cashier, manager and admin roles with per-person permissions, and every location under one account
