Andes Cocina

Restaurant management platform for Venezuela and Colombia — orders, kitchen display, inventory, cash register and finances in one place, charging in dollars, bolívares and pesos at the day's rate, even when the internet goes down.

The problem

A restaurant in Venezuela or on the Colombian border runs in three currencies at once. One table pays in dollars, the next by Pago Móvil in bolívares, the one after in pesos — and the rate that counts depends on the city: BCV, Binance, or the border rate. Most restaurant software assumes one currency and a connection that never drops. Neither is true here.

What Andes Cocina does

One platform for the whole restaurant. From the moment the waiter takes the order until the customer pays, everything flows in real time between the floor, the kitchen and the cash register. When a dish is sold, inventory is deducted automatically according to its recipe. You close the day with real numbers — sales by payment method, profitability per dish, monthly expenses — in every currency you handle.

How it works

  1. Take the order — at the table, from a QR code, or through the restaurant's own online storefront.
  2. Cook it — orders land on the kitchen display and prep stations, and print on thermal printers routed per station.
  3. Charge it — in USD, VES or COP, split across 15+ payment methods, with the day's rate already applied.
  4. Close the day — inventory, recipes, suppliers, expenses and reports update themselves from what happened on the floor.

Key features

  • Multi-currency USD · VES · COP — rates refreshed every 6 hours from BCV (USD and EUR), Binance P2P and USD→COP; each restaurant picks its source, including the San Cristóbal border rate, with manual override. Integrates with MenuBCV
  • Works offline — orders, payments, kitchen updates and print jobs queue on the device and sync when the connection comes back, with no duplicates
  • Kitchen display & thermal printing — ESC/POS printing over USB, Bluetooth, or a local print bridge for WiFi printers
  • Inventory tied to recipes — batch cooking, real cost per dish, suppliers and purchase orders
  • Roles & granular permissions — admin, manager, waiter, kitchen, cashier, warehouse and delivery; the waiter doesn't see finances, the kitchen doesn't see costs, and every action lands in an audit log
  • Multi-branch & central warehouse — run every location from one account, dispatch stock between them, and see consolidated results
  • Delivery — dispatch with tracking, a public link so the customer can follow their order, and a freelance driver network
  • AI imports & weekly insights — photograph a receipt or drop a bank statement and the AI transcribes it for review; a weekly digest surfaces what changed in the business
